Looking for protein powder suggestions

I have a recurring problem with the protein powders that I've tried.  Within 1 hour of taking them (I'm Pre-Op) I am in the bathroom with the diarrhea. I can't imagine having to deal with this after surgery.

I'm not sure if its from the sweetner in them, or from the milk.  I have tolerated both these before adding the powder without problems.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

You might have an intolerance to the whey protein.  I would try a soy protein powder and mix with water or soy milk.  There are plenty of soy protein powders out there...GNC would be a good place to start.  When you do start the soy protein, do not use ANY of the whey protein.  You want to get the whey completely out of your system.  Hope this helps!

Someone makes an egg protien shake.  Maybe that would go down ok.

Start: 487 lbs (8/07) Lost 81 lbs pre op on South Beach. 406 lbs at surgery (6/08). 179 post op, by 2011. I  lost 308 lbs. Gained 98 while pregnant (2012-13) lost all but 25. My goal is to be 179 again!
