I am 6 weeks out and am wondering when I can start eating salad?

Depends on what your pouch can tolerate.  Mine did like salad at 6 weeks and sent it right back up, if you get my meaning.  I didn't try salad again until I was 12-14 weeks out, and then I chewed it like mad.  Sat okay then.  All I can say is follow your nutritionist's guidelines and listen to what your pouch says!

Good luck -

Once you have tolerated most protein foods, start adding in soft cooked vegetables.  If those are tolerated then you can try salad.  If you are only 6 weeks out, I might recommending waiting a little longer.  But yes, once you do try salad, make sure to add some protein like grilled chicken on top or tofu.  As always, keep portion size in mind, make sure to take small bites, chew to mush, swallow and really listen to your stomach  to stop eating when you begin to feel full.
