Hihi.  I am 5'1", almost 40 (Oct. 17) and mother to 4 children ages 22 to 5.    I had RNY Aug. 17, 2007.  Down from 282 to 120 now.  Had TT Aug. 26.  Doing well so far.  Had a bowel impaction from surgery meds. which was terrible.  My Dr. says he would like to see me at 140.  My question is this.  I like being at 120 and do not want to gain.  I do not want to try to gain.  My weight will naturally go up a little anyway right?  What is a good weight for my height?    How many calories should I be taking in daily?  How many ounces of water and protein?  I would like to firm up my legs and try for the arms too.  Any advise would be so greatly appreciated!!!

I had my surgery april 2005, and lost weight.  I held it off for a long time, and then recently........ I have gained 20 pounds etc.  So if I were you, I would not deliberately gain weight as long as I was healthy.  I wuld just make sure I didn't lose any more weight.

Good luck!
