What is this feeling?

I am not sure what I am feeling.  I am 5 days post op.  I get this feeling in my  stomach (not the pouch).  Sometimes it feels like a baby is kicking!!!  Is it gas?  Can I be sure that the stomach is actually closed off?  I have a sensation like I'm hungary, but I can' tell.  Anyone ever experience this?

Right after surgery I swear my intestines were moving.  Almost like they were not happy with how the surgeon left them and they were moving back to their preferred position in my tummy.  It was the stranges sensation ever! 

Who knows what it really was -- might have just been gas -- but that's my theory and I'm sticking to it.   LOL!   It stopped after a couple weeks.
