Alcohol is deadly if consumned often enough with WLS or not. My sister turned to alcohol and started smoking after WLS and is now stuffing the effects. Severe vitamin and mineral deficiency . She didn't eat right or take her supplements and is now paying the price. She has to have IV iron weekly @ the hospital and that is just the start of some of her problems.
I wish you well and hope there are some answers for you.
