Trying to go to Tender Iron from infusions

Hi, I wanted to see if anyone had any direction for me on this iron question. I have been getting iron infusions for a few yrs now... I finally have an iron count that is in the normal range! I have heard some great things about folks being able to stop their infusions and having good luck with carbonyl iron (tender iron) taken with vitamin c.... trying to figure out what dosage to begin with....  my labs the other day were; iron 58, transferrin 256, TIBC 324, % Saturation 18. Any thoughts?
