I've been bad

Lately, in the last two weeks or so, I have NOT been "following the rules".  I haven't been exercising, drinking all my water, getting in all my protein, etc.  I've noticed my weight has stayed the same during this last two weeks also.  Seems odd though.....I'm not taking in very many calories, why wouldn't I still be losing?  I'm back on the regimen today.  Any advice?

If you have been eating extra carbs -- in the form of refined and processed foods like bread, pasta, sweets and junk food -- your body uses those items for fuel first before anything else.  yep, even before it uses stored fat cells for energy.  The key is to keep your protein high, your carb intake healthy and moderate (fruits and veggies mostly) and to get plenty of water.  That's the balance you need to maintain to encourage your body to burn your stored fat as energy.
