heartburn

hi all i am  pre op rny but have a question i hope you can help with i am getting realy bad heartburn when eating and afterwards all last week i have had pains in my stomoch. i have had a lot of heart burn over the years and had been diagnosed with a sliding hietus hernia but it seems to be worse recently  i have been taking lots of zantac and antacid tablets can anyone advise please paul

Hi Paul,

I recommend that you seek counsel from a physician. Specifically a Gastroenterologist.  This could be something simple or something not so simple and he has the tools to tell you quickly how to solve the problem.  I know this is not a great deal of help, but, better to be safe than SORRY!
