What foods/liquids can I eat/drink to help with a Diverticulitis problem? My Doctor says I have Diverticulitis. Is it something I'm doing to cause it?  I'm 4 months post Lap RNY.

You need to seek the advice of a registered dietitian. Unfortunately, a nutritionist won't be able to help you with diverticulitis/diverticulosis. It is a very specific diet that may need intense treatment. Your doctor should also refer you to a gastroenterologist. You can find a dietitian using OH under their: find a "other professional" search engine. You can go to the american dietitian association : www.eatright.org, or use an on-line service like : enutritioncare.com. Either way, it's in your best interest to get in touch with a registered dietitian and gastroenterologist.
