seem to be stuck

i have been going to the gym for 6 weeks and do an hour and a half cardio and i have had the gastric bypass for 9 years and have not lost a pound i have really been consentrating on my calories and food and have been only reaching about 1500 cals per day and i burn off at least 700 every day do not know what to do to change this i have lost 15 total inches but havent lost a single pound could someone please help me

My first thought is that if you have lost 15 inches but know weight is that you are burning fat and building muscle.  And I'm sure you have heard before that muscle weights more than fat.  Are your clothes fitting better -- if they are, then I am sure you are making progress.  Progress is not always measureable on the scale. Hey,      I so agree with Jen. Please remember you are never alone in this. I know it is so frustrating. Becareful how you measure your sucesses! Congrats on the loss of your great 15 inches.. Hugs, Judy R

thank you so much for the support ozlady1000 and jen l i really needed to hear that i was on the elypical that i do every day for 30 mins and i was about to get teared up i am getting so frustrated thank you so much for your encouragement  i originally lost 90 lbs i went from 280 to 190 and went ftrom a size 20 to a size 12-14 then i had 2 kids and have gained back up to 235 i hate it i am really working hard and the biggest thing that gets me is everybody says you should watch what you eat and cut your cals that doesnt know i had the surgery but when i tell them i only consume 1200-1500 cals per day they think i am kidding i hate that.  i just want to look how i feel and you girls are just what i needed to get back on track  thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
