Does anyone know where I can find B-1 chewable by itself that tastes great and not an arm and a leg and two toes???

Look for a B-complex, that's probably easier to find. If you are malabsorbing thiamine, you are probably malabsorbing the other Bs too and they are water soluble, so a little extra is ok.

What are the %'s of really bad malabsorption problems??  I'm getting scared I'm surgery is on the 19th and ready to back out.  There are people who just cant replenish their stores of nutrients.  My husband is an internist says that it would take a few years to deplete B12.  I dont know about that if you dont have the IF going for us.  Help on this one.
