Hi, I was looking online to see how much these B-12 shots were and I found a canadian pharmacy selling them without a prescription. Is that normal? I am thinking of buying it that way to save money and the hassel of asking my doc for a prescription but just wanted other people's opinion.  also what supplies do you buy for the injection? is it in a pen or you have to fill a syringe? thanks.

You can get your B-12 shot from your local Kroger pharmacy without a prescription.  The pharmacist gives it right then & there.  It usually runs $10 - $15 (depending on whether or not it's on special).

to have your own supply at home, a prescription is required!   That's what my surgeon advised me.
