Hot Liquid question

Let me start off by saying I live in Maine and it's very cold here this time of year, as it is in many other parts of the country.  My drink of choice lately has been coffee.  I know it's not good for me as I just can't drink decaf.  I found some sugar free hot cocoa that is 25 calories per cup that has been good.  And I can drink decaf tea, which I am doing right now.  I know part of my problem with the coffee is my caffine addiction.  My question:  Is it okay to drink so much hot liquid?  I do drink crystal light but because I'm so cold I like the hot stuff.  Help???

I live on SF hot coco, hot green tea, hot reg and and decaf tea in the cold months. I haven't had any crystal light since about October.  I'm 4 years out and am maintaining, The caffine doesn't bother me one way or the other. For ME as long as I get 72 or more fluid I'm ok.  Good Luck,  Robin

Hi Being from Minnesota I know exactly where you are coming from.  I never used to drink anything hot now it seems like the only thing that warms me up.   I love teas and try for herbal so it doesn't have caffine.  I also love Chai tea which I buy from the grocery store it's sugar free no calories but does have some caffine, I mix it with Micellar milk protein and have a hot cup on my way to work or you can mix it with milk or soy milk.  I don't think it matters if your liquids are hot or cold but I typically don't count the teas or anything I drink hot in my fluids for the day.  My mother in law also loves the Raspberry ice Crytal light heated up. Hope this helps. Deb
