My surgeon and nut said I could start taking regular pills at 3months post op. I'm only 2 months out but I started taking my multivitamin and my calcium by pill (rather than chewable) a couple days ago and have had NO problems. I was finding that I wasn't consistantly getting in my vitamins because I hated the chewables so much... Do what your dr's say...just giving my own experience. Heather
