Hi All, I have tried a variety of chocolate protein bars and they all have between 5 and 23gms per bar. Unfortunately, I noticed the more protein, the more carbs, the more sugars, the more everything! I understand that it is a give and take situation. But if you have found a protein bar, especially chocolate, that is high in protein and low in everything else, please let me know. Thanks

HI! I like the Atkins breakfast bars, and the South Beach diet bars. Both are higher in protein and taste pretty good. Let me know if you like them! Lisa O

I have tried them all and hands down the best is Carbrite (Doctor's Carbrite Diet) comes in great flavors like smores, cookie dough, chocolate peanut butter they are high in protien around 20 grams, under 200 calories (most are 180 or 190) and have good carbs. I showed them to my surgeon and she was really impressed - nutritionally and calorie wise you cant beat them. I buy them by the box at GNC. They are also very tasty.

I like the Pure Protein chocolate peanut butter bars.  Here's the dish: 190 calories 17 g. carbs 6 g. fat 1 g. fiber 20 g. protein I buy them by the case at BJ's Wholesale Club.  They come in other flavors -- chocolate chip, s'mores, strawberry crumb, blueberry crumb -- but BJ's only carries the chocolate peanut butter.  I've found the other flavors at some of the local drug stores and vitamin shops.   Good luck finding something you like! This is my favorite also,  I keep them with me at all times.  I get mine at Wal-Mart.
