I haven't had caffeine since surgery and I'm pretty Ok with that (I've never been a coffee drinker) but once in a while I would like caffinated tea instead of decaff. I forget why this is bad for our pouch. Anybody remember? Thanks :)

It's not bad for your pouch. It have the potential to be bad for your hydration. As long as you're getting enough fluid in, you can have caffeine. As long as it's OK with your surgeon. My clients are allow to have caffeine from day 1 as long as they get in enough fluid.
