Healthy mini pizza recipe!
WHO doesn't like pizza! lol
once in a while my hubby orders pizza...
and ya know ...i would like a slice of pizza....too!
but i wouldn't dare go and buy regular pizza. and eat it.
NOT in this life time...
no way in heck.... would i eat the regular slice of pizza.
FULL of FAT, HIGH carbs and
OH my my HIGH calories in ONE SLICE of regular pizza!!!
ahhhhhhhhhhhh
I would be SO MAD at myself NOT having self - control over my eating habits.
because I absolutely LOVE pizza.... i would go over board with pizza
and have more then just ONE slice of pizza.
but i always work and practice my self control and keep in mind that i want to STAY on track with my GOOD healthy habits.
i would be NUTS to eat the regular slice of pizza.... right ?
way too much crap in the regular slices...
so i just make a HEALTHIER version of pizza
here's my recipe...
1/2 Light whole-grain English muffin
4 slices turkey pepperoni
2 whole mushrooms sliced up!
1 slice or a 1/2 of slice of - Mozzarella- Part Skim Milk- Low Moisture Cheese
toast the 1/2 muffin
spread 1 tablespoon of Bruschetta on the muffin.
use this Bruschetta HERE!
It's calorie free and sugar free ...
ONLY use as suggested ONE serving.
IF you use more then suggested serving...
it is not calorie free anymore!!
BE careful if you are watching your calories and you are on a diet.
every calorie counts!!
place some sliced turkey pepperoni and mushrooms on top of the muffin
put 1 or 1/2 of slice of mozzarella on top of your muffin
( i use little as possible, for me cheese is one of my trigger foods , i LOVE cheese.
so i KNOW that I need to stay away from it.
IF i use cheese, i use only HALF of it and that is all )
place muffin in toaster oven until the cheese melts.
and thats all folks...lol eat up and enjoy your HEALTHIER PIZZA
