ff cream soup, liquid??

I had a peice of fish for lunch and started to have some strained, ff cream of mushroom soup along with it...is this a mistake because it is a liquid? Did I flush out all that protein? I am 19 days post-op. Thanks, jo

You are right in catching that, the fish should be eaten alone.  In the future, you should have your soup just like a liquid - it is a liquid! Don't worry about it though - you are learning a new way to eat. Just remember to keep solids alone, liquids in between. Good Luck!
