Pill Size AND Vitamin C

How can I know if a pill is too big? I just got some Vit. C to take with my iron...but the pill just looks huge and I decided not to take it before asking about this. Darn, maybe I should have searched harder for a chewable? I didn't see any. What do you Vitamin C takers buy? Thanks in advance. :)

I have heard that the main thing is to make sure it dissolves in a few minutes, which you can test by dropping in to some lukewarm water. If it is too big to swallow, you can break it into pieces. I take a standard Walgreens chewable Vit. C (500 MG).

Thanks for replying, HHJJ! I'll try that lukewarm water test. Thanks for the tip. I think I'll try breaking it too. I guess it'd help if I drink it down using a hot beverage. If this doesn't seem to work well, I'll be gettin' me some chewables! :)

Brandi my doctor also told me that I could take anything as big as an M&M....I think my Vit C are a little bigger than that - but they dissolve quickly. Different brands dissolve differently. I use Nutralite - all natural and dissolves quickly. Good Luck.
