Stricture ???????
Hi there:
For me it was pain in the pouch at first. Then when I would eat it felt like everything was stuck. That lasted for a while. Then it got to be where water would not even want to go down. Now all of this was over the course of about 3 weeks. I had a frothing incident that lasted about 12 hours, and that was really the beginning of it getting so bad that I couldn't stand it.
My case was a bit different in that when I went to have the EGD performed, no one knew, including myself, that I had an ulcer. I won't go into details, but the ulcer was what caused so much of the pain. It was on the other side of the stricture, and wasn't "found" until complications set it. Good news is, 99% of strictures are fixed on the spot, and you feel relief as soon as the Versed wears off! :)
I hope this helps!
