Hi, I am new to this and dont know if it will even get posted, buy here goes. I had lap band one week ago and I see the reviews for alot of the protein items, but I have no idea where to buy most of them. I tried bariatriceating.com. I know this must be a frequent question. Thanks

There are a lot of online sources for products.  But, you are in/near a big city.  The local health food store or natural food store almost always have these products - as does nutrition stores like GNC or vitamin shoppe (Is Trader Joes there? They have some stuff too).  The benefit of going to the stores is that you can look and touch the products, read the labels, and buy smaller quantities (in case you don't like it).  Some stores even return the product if you don't like it. Check out some of the member review boards for products - they can save you time if all of the reviews are not good... Good Luck!

You can find protein bars almost everyehere.  Krogers, Meijers, WalMart, KMart, Sams etc. I know at WalMart and KMart they are with the near the RX counter. READ the lable some have a HIGH amount of SUGAR and you really don't want that.  Good Luck,  Robin
