pre-op medications

A friend is scheduled for surgery at Barix in Michigan in a couple of weeks and was told to stop all her medications except her blood pressure pills.  She has restless leg syndrome and would like to know if it would be ok for her to take tylenol arthritis pills...or is that also a no no.  Thank you on her behalf.

The safest thing to do is check with the physician. Some anaesthesiologists will not work on a patient who did not follow ALL of the pre-operative instructions (maybe it's different in Canada). It's better to play it safe & ask
