There is no problem with Weigh****chers. However, you will need to continue with your dietary guidelines as well. Weigh****chers offers support and teaches you a point system. As far as I know, the program directors are not familiar with WLS. So, it will take a bit more work on your part. You may need to meet with the facilitator 1:1 to discuss your caloric needs to come up with a good number of points. However, I would first encourage you to look at your exercise habits (you didn't post them, so I don't know). But, it may be easier for you to increase the amount of exercise or the intensity of exercise rather than restricting your food intake. Keep in mind, did you try WW prior to surgery? If so, did it work? Be sure that you are choosing a plan that suits YOU best.

Hi Kimberly! I have attended weigh****chers for a year now, as part of my 6 month pre-op ins required plan, and since my surgery as my weekly weigh in (I refuse to own a scale).  I love the exercise and counseling and I just don't follow the eating plan.  Everyone in my group knows about my surgery and has been super supportive.  I have gotten a lot of good support and great ideas.

I don't see why not.  The points system can be a great way to get your portions back under control (assuming they have gotten out of proportion).  They use education, reinforcement and accountability.  If you work the plan, it can be very effective. Good luck!
