Stevia is marketed in the US and Canada as a supplement, so it has little regulation.
I think the evidence is clear that a little Stevia is not a problem - a lot might be.

In my opinion
the pros - it is sweet
the cons - it is expensive & potentially harmful in a world where other sweeteners (like sucralose - which is also "natural") are widely available.
The best decision for you, is the one you make yourself.
