I go to the gym for an hour a day 5-6 days a week. mwf cardio (treadmill and bike) my fat burning zone is 80-90 according to vo2 test. i have a hard time getting and keeping my heart rate at 80. tues. and thurs. i have 30 mintes cardio and 30 minutes weights and conditioning. typical day: b. hot tea l. 3-4oz meat d. 3-4 oz meat, chicken, pork or fish, tablespoon vegetable, usually green beans, asparagus, brocolli snack: whole grain cracker no cakes, candy, sweet, bread, pasta my problem is i do not seem to loose like others. i can go weeks no loss, or gain 2 pounds out of the blue, then loose those 2 pounds. i take recomended vitamins, calcium, iron supplements and b12 sublingual.  i try to drink 48 oz of water a day. i cannot tolerate protein shakes, cottage chees, any kind of cheese, or milk. i need help and hope you can recommend something for me. i do have access to a nutritionist and she tells me i am doing everything well, and cant understand why i am not loosing. thank you in advance, and i am glad i found this site. laurap.

I don't do anywhere near the exercise you are doing. But you need at least 60 grams of protein a day and it does not sound like you are getting that.  You also need at least 64 ounces of water--not 48. UP the protein.  I can't eat eggs, tolerate protein shakes, milk etc. either.  I am eating cooked shrimp wneever I can (really packed with protein).  I do eat cottage cheese and I suggest you try to get it down.  I am training my stomach to take in skim milk--I have started drinking 1/4 cup of skim milk every evening.  I will increase this to 1/4 cup twice a day, then 3 times a day then up to 1/2 cup etc.  This is because milk is a good source of protein and I REFUSE to be lactose intolerant!   My surgery was April 17th and I am just now starting to tolerate some foods so don't give up.  I have lost 73 pounds and weight loss increased when I really started focusing on at least 60 grams of protein and working to get 80 grams!
This too will pass, like a kidney stone but it will pass!
