So I was wondering Im almost 9 mos out and how many calories should I be doing a day. Aslo how many carbs and should I count the carbs in fruits and vegtabels. Aslo what do you think about sugar free treats are they ok once in awhile. Sorry for all the questions. Oh my current weight is 138 and im 5ft 5 inches.   Thanks so much.

For your calories, I would ballpark guess about 1250 per day.  This may be too high or too low - depending on your exercise and a host of other factors.  Best bet - keep a daily food diary. Calculate out your average intake for 1 week. Use this number as your baseline.  If you want to lose more weight, deduct calories (or increase your activity). Sugar free treats, once in a while, are fine. For carbs - yes, you count the carbs in everything, including fruits & vegetables.  When I make recommendations for carb intake I usually look at the person's diet and then go from there - so if I'm way over what you normally consume adjust accordingly. Generally I would say 50% of calories from carbs.  Your carbs should be whole grains, minimally processed, whole foods.  You should have fruit, not fruit juice.  You should have vegetables, not a vegetable drink.  Most vegetables provide about 5g of carbohydrate per serving, so you can be far more generous with those If you were working with a 1200 calorie diet, 50% would be 10 portions of carbs per day (using standard 'exchange lists') or 150 gram per day.
