As always, check with your doctor & follow their advice first.  If it were up to me, I would put your minimum protein closer to 75g per day.  The protein probably isn't your problem.   If you are not losing as fast as you would like, you need to take a closer look at your diet.  Keep a food diary for a couple of days (yes, I know it's hard to do - but very useful!) and look at your habits.  Are there high calorie foods you could do without? Could you add more fruits, vegetables, or grains? Can you increase the frequency or intensity of your workouts? Danielle Halewijn RD eNutritioncare.com

Thanks for the advice. When examining my lifestyle I have not felt up to par for the last two weeks lots of stress at work, I was not really good at my vitamins, and my exercise. However, I do log everything on Fit Day. I dont count all the popsicles I eat and I have about 1 T of peanut butter every day that I always neglect to add to my Fit Day. So today I am being very conscious of everything that enters my mouth. I will try an up my protein to the 75 grams. Perhaps this will also help with the loss of hair. One thing I did do was check my bloodwork results and I have noticed that my Protein level prior to surgery and now is between 7.4-7.6 which is basilcally what it was prior to surgery. So I must not have as much malabsorption as I think. So tell me if you think going on that should I stay at 60 mg of protein or take it up to the 75. I also noticed another thing I ususlly do not sweat when I work out. But yesterday I drank at least 96 oz of water and today when I did my 30 on my treadmill I did sweat.  What do you think in a good ration of protein, carbs fat and fiber. #'s and percentage's. Thanks for all you advice Mich
