17 months post op..? what is amount food I should be taking in?

I am interested in seeing if I am eating too much or not enough at 17 months post RNY. I have been tracking my food intake on spark people.com and am averaging between 1000-1300 calories a day with 70-90 grams protien. Getting in at least the minimum water (8) glasses a day. Take B12 sublinqual, calcium citrate, iron, zinc (I was low when blood was checked) and a centrum chewable multivitamin each day. I have not gotten to my goal yet, would like to lose about another 8-10 lbs. Have only been losing around 1 lb  every month or so as of late. I do use a tredmill to get in  walking and have tried to shake that routine up some. Any suggestions? Am I getting in  enough food or too much? Thanks for any input. Sher

Hi Sher, Gosh, somehow I must have missed your post. I am sorry none of us have replied sooner. Anyway, I think you're right on target with your calorie intake. Seems like you are getting a correct amount of food - I would like to see an average daily intake from you to double check where you are getting your calories from -- I would be looking for your protein, carb, fat intake. Go ahead and send it to me, or reply to this post. I'd be happy to take a look. Weight loss should slow as you get closer to your goal. You're right on track there too. Losing an average of 1 lb per month is not bad. If this continues, you should hit your goal right around the 2 year marker. Do you exercise on your treadmill daily? If exercising on the treadmill works for you, that's great, no need to change. However, you may want to increase the intensity of your workout. Or kick it up to everyday if you are currently not exercising daily. Try to walk faster, or maybe sneak in a 5 minute run in the middle of your workout. Increasing teh intensity will help you burn more calories and drop the last 8-10 lbs. It will also help you maintain your weight down the road. Hope that helps!!
