claiming mexico surgery on income tax

Just wondering if we can claim surgery on our income tax if I plan to go ahead with mexico?

I have no idea, but I'll ask around to some peeps I know, who've had self-pay out of province surgery.

ok good, I can't wait to hear the answer.  It will be an interesting one I am sure and will help me make up my mind for sure.

Haven't heard anything other than they suggested to call Revenue Canada to ask.

Still have to come up with the money, I spoke with the finance company but they want payments of 250-350 a month and it can be paid off whenever.  I just don't want the headache of paying that off especially around xmas time but I also don't want to wait lol... oh the fun, decisions, decisions
