Bougie Size

Hi,

Just wondering what size bougie they used on you all? What are your thoughts on this ?many people have conflicting  thoughts.

If I remember right, Dr. Ellsmere used a 36 on me.  Not sure if he does the same on everyone or not. 
In the Halifax program there is no discussion of bougie size.  I only learned of it from reading on these forums. 
I did ask a resident about it and she did tell me ( I think the 36).

ya that is why I was asking,as i never heard any mention of it at the Information session i attended or on the Ns board here. but there is alot of discussion on the OH VSG Forum so I thought I would ask all of you your opinions and if the clinic in halifax  has a certain overall  preference for bougie size or does it depend on the patient?

I honestly can't answer that. 

I don't know what size, but Dr. Ellsmere told me he remove 85% of my stomach  :)
