How long is the waiting list for surgery in Halifax

How many doctors in Nova Scotia do this type of surgery

My doctor put in a referal about 6 months ago
Hoping to hear from Halifax soon

There is 2 surgeons and it's  about a 6 to 7 year wait!

I had vertical sleeve in Halifax Feb 23.  I waited a year.  I went to an information session on Feb 16 of 2009.
That is the only surgery they are doing in Halifax right now.  The waiting list is currently based on need not first come first served.

I highly recommend the vsg surgery, I have had no complications as yet.  I am down 50 lbs in 3 months, some pre surgery the rest post-surgery.
