Reached my Goal in 6 months......Ty Mexico and Dr Alvarez

Here are a few before and after pics...as requested.  HMMM....bought a new bra....note to self...now that I see the picture....I have it clasped too tight....argh!!  LOL

Anyway.......here ya go....for those *****quested them.

 Before at 225......size 22-24


 GOAL.....150 lbs...size 8 - 10 in 6 months!!!

  Again.....GOAL

So now........I loosen the bra........and gofor another 5 lbs....see how I settle in from there.

It can be done people.....it can be done!

Thank you Dr Alvarez, and his team, Dr Gabriel and Susan.....for all your good care, Pre-Op....Op....and Post-Op.  You are the BEST !!

Goal in 6 months now thats a big wow!

I hope that maritimers see the success you have had with an "out of country" wls and that is do-able and achievable - with anywhere from a 6-9 year wait in Atlantic Canada - Personally I think we have to look at other options- self pay means your surgery choice and you also choose your surgeon - there are options and ways to finance - I say go for it !

Hope to see you at a meeting in Halifax or if you are up this way we can grab a coffee- not sure when the halifax clinic is planning to have October's meeting - I have not received any correspondence but will post when I do .

Again Jane congrats - you did it - way to go!

Deb................please let me know of any meetings, I will try to attend.  I work shifts and with a little notice, sometimes I can switch things around to get it off.

Are the meetings in Halifax open to anyone or just those who had surgery in Halifax?  I'm still researching, and would love to talk to those who have had VSG or lap band.
