'Practice' Liquid Diet - Questions

I started the liquid diet that you have to do to be considered for surgery & I have a question...  I read somewhere that you could make your own soup (or whatever) as long as you blend it to a liquid before you eat it.  I did this with beans and I just want to make sure this is ok?  If anyone has any suggestions on recipes for smoothies, or tasty soups, I would love to hear them  :)  I started on Tuesday.
Thanks!

Yep i did it with beans, but you will find the blended beans really heavy post surgery. I just bought the cream soups in the can and mixed them with milk and dry milk powder for xtra pro and made sure i strained them if they had lumps (post surg). My favorite was the cheddar cheese soup. It was my staple food post surg.

Hope this helps,

I took cream of chunky potato/cheddar soup and put it in the blender for several minutes - lots of flavor, no lumps, and very filling.  I love the idea of dry milk though - adding that to things for additional protein - thanks for that idea!
