My name is Abbe and I live in Dartmouth with my husband and 4 yr old daughter (4 as of May 26th!). I turned 29 in April and I'm very overweight. I have tried dieting to no avail. I started gaining weight after having two c-sections in a 13 month span with complications (I also have a 3 yr old "special needs" son who currently lives with my mother). I'm very introverted now, and hate what I look like in the mirror. This is hard for me, but I need help, so any suggestions would be appreciated. I am wondering if VSG surgery has a shorter waiting list? I skimmed the board and it seems it does. Thank you.

You need to get your family doc to make a referral to the Clinic at the QEll.
They have over 1750 referrals as I type, so Diana says, she is the patient co-ordinator for Dr Ellsmere and Klassen. They try to see 200 patients per year.
So there is a 5-8 yr waiting list.
I said "SHAG THAT" and self paid and went to Mexico.
