I am here feeling your frustration - certainly been there done that at about this time last year I was researched all out and felt so discouraged at all the long waits- you certainly have more options if you are able to self pay and it puts you in the driver seat thats for sure.... I hope you can locate a surgeon that you have complete faith in and get VSG like you want.

It is totally frustrating....but you know, most things in life that are worth having can be sometimes.
I am now trying to come up with the funds to head to Mexico the end of March, and am in touch daily with 2 clinics there to see if I can get things in order with one of them.
I am hoping to attend the session on the 21st....I have asked for the day off to attend, and won't know until Thurs this week.
I will post something as soon as I have something to post!! lol
