Looking for lap band procedure. Any closer than Toronto?

I'm a 54 year old from the Sydney area who has been looking into the lap band procedure.  I got my hopes up that Dr. B in Moncton might be my saviour until I found out that his waiting period is now five years long.  I understand the wait list at the Toronto clinic is only 6-8 weeks which is good.  Did I read somewhere that someone had lap band done in Montreal?  If so, can you give me some details about how to get in touch with them.  Any and all advice would be appreciated.
