I have a date!!!

I am so excited, it seems so surreal! After much work and anticipation, I am having the gastric sleeve surgery in Halifax by Dr. Ellsemere on June 3rd!!! I met with him in April. For those that don't know. If you get an appointment. He doesn't do lists. If he sees you, he plans to do the surgery in approx. a month later! I was on Dr. MacDonald's list for a long time. I can't believe this is finally happening! My advice "DON"T GIVE UP! It is within your reach, fight for it too. and Good luck!

woooohooooooooo- me too, same surgeon but mine is on the 11th!! I also met with him in may and was on dr.macdonalds list- been waiting 6 years or so! I cant believe its finally here! Good luck with your surgery!! Maybe we can keep in touch and follow each other's progress!
