5 mo since I went to India

Hi, folks, it has been 5 months today since I had my RNY in India and I ve lost 70 lbs so far and am very happy. My husband will have the lapband in May 2007 in Montreal and we'll probably have the same problem with the fills. Both surgeries were not covered by MSI, at least my husband will get a little bit (1900 of the 11000 it costs). What a shame that there are no services in NS. I really hope the media pick it up!

Hi Christine Great news. You go girl. I did send you a e-mail I hope you recived it. Good news about your hubby. Will MSI cover any of it and is he going to a hospital or a private clinic? It is so nice to see whole this expeirence is changing everyones lives. Keep up the Good work Laurie
