Topic: Sunday Evening Update
Hi all I just thought I would check in with you all. Made it through another weekend. Had a tough few days physically with back pain. But didn't completely medicate with food. Not much exercise past 4-5 days. See my PCP tomorrow.
I have really been enjoying my homemade "crap" cereal. My blood sugars have been really good!
Started book Bob Harper (biggest loser) called the skinny rules very easy read. Enjoying it a lot. He too advocates a Volumetrics (high fiber low fat good protien) type diet. Love
It when I find reading similar to the type of food plan I am trying to follow. Would love to hear how your weekend went! I will post again soon. Deb

Topic: RE: DAY 6 - A bit of a victory today

I'm so happy for you that day 6 is so much more positive for you than day 4 was!

Love your NSV's (non-scale victory...I had to look it up the first time I saw it) so far. Wait until you've done a couple of weeks.

Keep up the good work!

Be sure to check in with us for Hump Day weigh-ins on Wednesdays!

It's surprisingly tasty for something so healthy. Who knew!?

Just a word of caution...when you break wind in the next day or two, you don't want to be around people!   You may want to blame the dog!

Topic: DAY 6 - A bit of a victory today
So day 6 on the optifast 900 and there are 3 small victories so far

1- I AM NOT HUNGRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

2 - My ring had to have a sizer put on it to take it from size 8 to size 6 and a half!

3 - My pants from February 2009 (9 months before I got pregnant) fit again they are a little snug (a bit of muffin top) but hopefully I will be able to wear them in public soon.

Well that is what I am smilling about today :)

Good morning all. I tried my mixture of hemp hearts, chia seeds and ka****his am. I used 2 tablespoons of the seeds soaked in 1/4 cup milk for about 1/2 hr. Then I add my envelope of 100% Quaker instant oats with 1/2cup H2O micro for a min. Sprinkled with cinnamon broen sugar splenda and Voila! It was delicious! Nutty crunchy flavor and texture. Way better then just the oats. Only things is I don't know how to add it to my calorie counts on my fitness pal. Do you have any ideas on that? Also I found lots of info on line about these ingredients. Very interesting reading. Deb
