Congrats on that incredible weight loss.
But PLEASE take it easy.take it slow. Losing weight at a slow rate is much healthier in the long run.
Glad your brother is home and hope your mom gets home today. Please, Please, Please take good care of yourself!!!

wow, I had the same amusment park experience when I had to get off a ride in front of everyone and my daughter had to go with a stranger, that was a very sad experience, also the many times I just let my kids go on rides with strangers or by themselves because I just didn't want to risk the embarassment again. There was one time I got stuck in one of those chair and table that are attached to each other at the food court and when I tried to get out the entire table and chair got up with me, I literally lifted it off the floor because I was so tightly wedged in. And, of course, there's the public transit and airplane issues that I'm sure most of us are familier with. I broke a lawn chair at a friends house and there were other people around to witness (humiliating)...so many I could go on and on...being the only one fully clothed at a water park on a hot summers day etc etc

Topic: My loss for the week
So I usually weight almost everyday because I'm obsessed that way. But anyways I count Saturday mornings. As of Saturday morning I was at 258! :] Eek. That's 6 pounds for last week. Only 8 to go to get to my first goal! Only 19 to go to be at pre-pregnancy weight. Then hmm 39 to go from there to be where I was when I met my fiance lol. So ya for me! Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Topic: Good news and Bad news.....
Well, the good news is I had my week #1 weigh in at WW this morning and lost 10.8lb!!
The bad news is I woke up at 12:30AM last night and was in atrial fibrillation (heart arrythmia). I have had periodic episodes of this in the past but none in almost 3 years. Have an appointment with my cardiologist at 11:00. I usually convert back to normal sinus rhythm within 24 hours on my own and hope that's the case this time.
A rapid weight loss (fluid volume) with the first week of WW triggered this once before, so figure that plus the stress of having my mother and brother both in the hospital this weekend might be the cause. Good news, my brother came home yesterday and my mother comes home today. Now just hope I don't end up in there! We'll need a family discount rate!!

Great question!
Hard to pick the most embarrassing moment....so many.....
I guess this was pretty big because I still remember it and it happened about 25 years ago.....
I was in a dept store going to try on some clothes...as I stepped into the stall a little girl with her mother said "shes a fat lady". I remember pulling the curtain closed and looking in the mirror and thinking she is right.
I too had an amusement park mishap. I was on line for a ride....I probably weight about 250 at the time.....It had been a rainy day, my tee shirt was glued to my body...a couple of young Ladies and gentlemen (I say that sarcastically) were in across from me and they kept turning to look at me and then would laugh.
OK - THIS is probably the most embarrassing.
I was on a cruise about 4 years ago. We were on our way to an excursion they drive you there in one of those open buses....as everyone was getting on the bus the driver said to me..."You can sit up front with me". I wanted to turn around and get back on the boat but I didn't.....geez all that awful feeling just filled my body. I'd like to go back, find that driver and say "how do you like me now?"
OK - off to look in the mirror and remind myself of how great I look and feel now.
Have a great day!!!!

Topic: What are you celebrating and proud of? Monday
Good Monday Morning!!!
I'm going out for lunch today to our favorite place.........looking forward to it. I'm proud that I have already planned out what I'll be having....very healthy. I'm going to go up to the hibachi bar and get a big plate filled with veg (peppers, onions, brocc, zucc,) and a little shrimp and have them flash grill it with NO added oil or sauce. The grill is already oily so I don't want more added. I'll also get a small piece of salmon with this and that will be my lunch.
The other thing I'm VERY proud of is that later this morning I'm taking another step in trying to face my fear of flying. A BIG step. The video's I've been watching have been helping somewhat. Talking about it definitely is helping. I'll post more on this later.....
Hope all is well with you all and that you will post what you are celebrating and proud of.
