Hi Janeene~
I have not tried Medifast, but I am on a similar program: it's a Very Low Calorie Diet. It's probably not for everyone, but it is working for me, and I it!
I do have a friend who did Medifast, and she lost a good deal of weight. She didn't keep it off, though, so I recommend going through a Medifast clinic or seeing a dietcian.
Learning to eat correctly AND exercising are key! (but you already know that!)
Best wishes on your journey!

Welcome back Trisha. It's always nice to have more people to contribute to this message board, it tends to get pretty quiet. I guess not too many people interested in non surgical weight loss. Good luck with your renewed efforts.

Has anyone tried it if so what was your experience like...thanks in advance for you comments.....
Topic: hello
Hello everyone my name is Trisha. I used to be on here as a regular, but some things had happened in my life and I have not been on in almost a year wow cant believe its been that long. I recognize a couple of lifers that are still around lol. I decided to take the time and see where I was mentally and what was best for me. I have 3 young children 6,4, and 2....so I need to find structure and time for me, and since my husband and I decided we were not having anymore children now is a great time to start focusing on ME...... I thought WLS was someting I wanted to do but things happened (loooong story) and I think everything is supposed to work out the way it is because I didnt get the surgery and I feel like I am in a better place and able to focus better. I did awesome last time on atkins and after purchasing and reading all Atkins new diet revolution book I am ready to get back on board.
anyway enough with my babbling on I just wanted to say hello and that I plan I being around for a while.

Hello,
I exercised this morning for 32 min because i had to do something since I was too late getting up to go to the gym. I am proud of exercise average. Sticking to my 5 days or more a week average.

Topic: 1st milestone reached this year.
I am finally on my way everyone. I have not gained any more weight since March and reconnecting here on OH.com. I am down 16 pounds and that brings me back to my January 2010 weight. So I have reached one milestone already this year. I have lost the 16 pounds I gained in 2010. I am determined to make 2010 a year I am not going to gain. The last 3 years my weight has been sliding up and I promise you and myself that 2010 will not be a gain year for me.
