i don't have a 'proud moment' yet but wanted to stop by and say 'way to go'... it can be tough when life gets in the way...

Anyone watch it last night? did you see when sam got sent home and then confessed that he and Stephanie were in a relationship, I noticed that if some of the contestants are in a relationship they do a good job of editing those things out and then we find out after the fact. I noticed in a past episode that it seemed like Sam and Stephanie had a thing going, and then lo and behold they did! I noticed for the past couple of weeks that michael and Ashley seem to have something going on? anyone else catch that? last week he had his arm around her when they were waiting for the "pool challenge" to get over and last night he called her "baby" a couple of times and then it showed them holding hands? just wanted to see what you thought if you watch the show, I think it would be cool to see them as a couple, what do you think?

well... i guess it's time i jump in here... i've been poking around now since the middle of march when my husband decided to go for WLS... what a great place this is...
so i have about 40 lbs to loose and thought this would be the place to come for the extra support i need... so i've started watching what i eat and actually measuring my portion sizes and i'm trying my hardest to jump on the treadmill in the mornings... i'm finding that late nights aren't very condusive to getting up early in the mornings though ...
so i do plan to start coming regularly and share all the ups and downs of my journey... seems like i'm in the right place...

Topic: RE: single parenthood and exercise
i can certainly see how that could be frustrating... although i'm not a single parent i too find it difficult to find the time to exercise... sounds like you're doing awesome with the time you have though... during soccer season is it possible to do some walking while the kids are playing... i figure i'll have to go that route myself... my DS is playing for the first time this year... keep at it... you're doing great...

that does sound frustrating!! it sounds like you are doing the best you can, maybe involve your 7 year old in the exercise, she would probably think it was a game. maybe knock your 2 year old out, got any benedral??? (don't worry, i'm just kidding!!! )

Topic: RE: WW Weigh-In #2
Thanks, Ruth. Yes, sadly I don't do well with those kind of carbs either anymore....even sticking to my points. My oatmeal in the morning or oat bran gives me a great laxative effect and doesn't seem to stall me. I had a bad day on Monday after my weigh in though (lots of poor choices) and trying to get back to my weigh in weight at the moment. Not sure why I sabotaged myself like that. Maybe today's Oprah show will help me understand. :)
