Good morning all! My little girl and I are up early and ready to get this day started!

I was feeling in a bit of a funk this morning and wanted to over eat, but decide its just not worth it. Breakfast went good and I'm going to push on through to the next meal. Just one meal at a time today! HUGS to all you ladies out there today.

I hope and pray to be back up to speed in the next couple of days here, my family has been planning a hugh hyard sale for this weekend and i have been working diligently at getting things ready, so bad timing to get so sick! I hope everyone else had a good day!

Optifast is amedically supeervised weight lossprogram usually for pre bariactric patients. But it can be used as a stand alone weight loss too. It includes shakesbars and soups. It is really good because there is a transition period to go back on regular food the "right way". and there is maintance too.

I'll start. I had to face my scale this morning after my vacation. I wasn't too worried about what I ate on vacation, but was worried about all the food I ate on the two days it took to get home from the vacation. Airplane food, airport food, takeout food... blah NON of it is good for me. Then it was my husband's birthday when we got home. We have this chocolate, butter-cream icing cake that I would love to eat up. I've put it in the deep freezer so that I can not physically eat it. And it's out of sight.

Back to the scale... I'm down 1 pound today and so freakin thankful! 252 today, and looking forward to the 240's (again!).

Oh, I'm sorry you are not feeling well! I hope you get to feeling better very soon. The weather here is just great, I would hate to be sick with these sunny skies.

Thanks for the warm welcome back!! My trip back to Texas is second week of July. It should be nice and HOT when I get there. hahaha! What you do for family, right?? It would be so nice to be down to 230 when I get there. I have summer clothes for that size. I know I'll feel better and not be too hot all the time if I weigh less than I do now. I have such a long ways to go, but I feel like taking it in small steps is going to help me do it this time around. YKWIM?

Hi all! I'm back from vacation! It was the first time my husband and I left our little girl 17 months over night. We had a really great time and web chatted with her on Skype every day. That really helped me just enjoy myself rather than worrying.

Vacation was amazing! I did TONS of walking and going up and down steps. I reduced my diet coke consumption A LOT and I ate portions that are the right size rather than crazy big portions.

I took a walk today and I honestly felt better after doing it. That was my first walk since being home and I just plan on sticking with the walking! I have a gym workout buddy and I hope we also start working out in the next week.

Anyways, I miss ya'll and I'm so glad to be back. Have a good week everyone!

Hey Holly,

How is it going? I decided to come and see how things were going around here, been a Loooooong time since I've visited this board, good to see some familiar faces, I dont go on Facebook too much either these days! my new thing is walking! I LOVE it! I could not afford the gym any longer so try to walk several 3 to 5 times per week any where from 3 to 6 miles each time! I have decided to stay off the scale for the time being instead I am measureing my success by a pair of capri pants that I want to fit in comfortably by June, My husband and I are going on a trip June 4-9 and I am using that date as my goal, The capri's fit now but are incredibly tight!! so I am working on it, I have them hanging up in my room so I can see them everyday as a reminder of what I am working for! so thats an update on me! hope you are doing awesome!
I'm so happy that you are back! I was gone a long time as well. Last week I was on vacation, but I'm back and excited to see a few of us working on goals this year! I am going back to my home state for a visit this July to seem my family and friends. I also want to be a size smaller! Come on girly, we can do this!!

Sorry i have been off the computer for a while... I have lost a total of 40lbs but that is from July of last year... I have gone from a size 24 to an 18! I am excited! I also started calorie counting at first but found FOR ME that wasnt enough, as soon as I added the treadmill, even a mile at a time, i really started to see results! I was less hungry! I had more energy, it was adicting.

Zumba is great! I now go 2x a week at the gym, I didnt like it at first, I was verry cautous of moving in public after all its hard when you move your body and 3 counts later your fat rolls catch up with you... sorry its a little cynical but, it is what it is.

how are you doing so far? I hope you were able to stick with it!

As for October I will be 28 on the second! I plan on a night out of town where I can be someone other then mom for 24 hours! (single mom here)
Size 18 ROCKS!!! Enjoy and be proud of yourself!! I'm totally excited for you! I can't wait to keep reading your journey.
