The Scoop On Plastic Surgery
I know that some of you may be thinking about plastic surgery in the future. This is what I've experienced. The pain was a lot less than expected. Just some soreness and tightness, but not real pain. The thing I didn't expect was the drain on the energy from the surgery. I've been feeling 20 years younger after loosing weight and working out so much, but I'm feeling 20 years older now. Just to walk upstairs and get in bed last night felt like a mini workout. It will be months before I can do the Pilates and the other kinds of workouts I've been used to doing. But the results are great. I'm out of the binder and I put on a pair of panties for the first time last night. Just to see how flat they lay without any skin folded under there was shocking. It's definately worth it.

Lynette,
I am so glad to see you back posting. I am also glad that your plastics journey wasn't horrible like some stories that I've read. I truly think with you being as incredibly healthy as you were it made it even more of a success.
I think we all forget that it IS surgery, and even though the results are well worth it, our bodies undergo quite a bit of trauma.
I'm happy to see you back!! I can't wait for some pictures!

Lynnette, I understand!! Even after 5 months I still will have enough discomfort to wear my binder. I tough it out but at the gym it helps sometimes. I am just about back to the entire workout for the week that I was doing before my surgery. Are you pretty numb? That has lasted for me. My belly button feels really weird and if my cat jumps on my lap it kills me. Well, good luck to you. Glad you are thrilled. I've scheduled my arms and boobs for the end of September...not sure yet on the implant thing. Mary
