Thurs. Mar. 16 & Fri. St. Patty's Day Menus
I thought I would have a green face for St. Patrick's Day. I wore a green uniform to work today, too.
Thursday March 16
Breakfast
1 banana
1/2 cup cheesy egg substitute (fat free cheese)
1 cup Cream of Wheat
1 cup skim milk
Coffee
2 cups water
AM Snack
8 oz. Breyer's low fat yogurt with fruit
2 cups water
Lunch
Salad with romaine lettuce, grape tomatoes, red pepper, baby carrots, fat free shredded mozzarella cheese, no fat ranch dressing, and 4 oz. browned tofu with lemon pepper seasoning
4 graham crackers
2 sugar free Jello cups
1 apple
2 cups water
Dinner
Chicken breast with 1/4 cup white sauce
1 cup mashed potatoes with sauce on them
1 can mixed no salt vegetables with sauce
1 can light fruit ****tail, drained
1-1/2 cups skim milk
Evening Snack
3-4 small chocolate chip cookies from choir (Entenmann's)
Friday March 17
Breakfast
1 banana (only had one orange and an extra banana)
1 cup skim milk
1/2 cup egg substitute
1 cup Kix cereal
Coffee
2 cups water
AM Snack
8 oz. Breyers low fat yogurt with fruit
2 cups water
1 Ritz cracker
Lunch
Tuna salad (made with tuna, fat free mayo, lemon juice, salt, & pepper)on romaine lettuce, red pepper, grape tomatoes, & baby carrots
4 Tbsps. fat free shredded mozzarella cheese
2 Tbsps. low fat french dressing
4 graham crackers
2 sugar free Jello cups
1 large plum
2 cups water
Dinner
Browned steak on griddle with Pam
1 baked sweet potato with 2 tsps. margarine
Leftover Nothing-To-It Chili
1 cup unsweetened applesauce
Diet root beer
Evening Snack
Candy to watch DVDs with

Thursday
B - Protein drink w/1C Skim Milk, 2C Chicken soup
L - 2C Chicken Soup, 2oz Deli Turkey
D - 2 1/2C Chicken Soup, 1 1/2oz lite Swiss cheese
S - Apple & 6 Pistachios
Friday
B - Banana
L - 2 Slices Deli Ham, 2T Lite Cream Cheese, 1 SF Pickle Spear
D - 3oz assorted Irish Cheeses w/ 6oz glass of Reisling, 6oz Corned Beef, 1C Carrots (skipped the potatoes & crusty bread)
Dessert - 1 Tiny piece of Scottish Shortbread, Small sip of Irish Whiskey
I saved my calories (paying it forward) for dinner because I knew we were having some special "treats".
