OT - I am a Bi&^%
Hi All,
I just got back from a co-worker goodbye party, where I only ate fruit Yipee. But while I was there a gentlemen who I worked with told me that someone who I gave a very hard time to at work because he wasn't following procedures thinks I am a bi#$%.
I don't know why this bothers me, but it does. The guy who I gave a hard time too, really was in the wrong and cause a lot a grief to our department, but maybe I handled it incorrectly.
So I really shouldn't care, but I do. I guess I want people to like me. I'm just wondering if perhaps, with the weight loss, I am a little quicker to speak out more so than in the past and perhaps a tad bit more bluntly.
Or in this double standard world of ours, women are B's while men are assertive
No point to this email, just jabbering a bit. Thanks for listening.
Ann
Hi Ann!
I'm a b**** too!
And you know what, I don't mind it one bit. See, the problem is that apparently speaking your mind and not being walked all over is being a b****. I gladly take that label.
I am not mean to anyone, even if they are mean to me. Honestly, I choose to rise above anything negative. But I will speak my mind, have no doubt.
So don't be so upset, I am proud to be someone that speaks up for myself, regardless of what others call me.
Donna
Hi Donna,
Thanks for the support! I thought about it last night and I no longer am upset because, overall, his actions were wrong and he needed to know. But still it is good to hear others think the same way.
Anyway, how are you doing? Are you still having the problem with numbness?
