I'm becomming a Girly Girl
Hi Everyone!
Okay, the more weight I lose the more girly girl I am becomming! I never thought that I was such high maintenance woman. But I love it. I now have pedicures, manicures, hair cuts and color.
Yesterday I was in the Ulta store and I swear I wanted to twirl and sing "Oh How I love being a girl"
At 306 pounds I didn't feel like a woman at all, just a blob. The only clothes I had were what would fit. I even had problems finding clothes at Lane Bryant and Catherines.
Now I can't stop buying clothes! My poor master card. I can't wait until I get the rest of the weight off and look like what I feel like inside.

Ann, I can relate totally. I was to the point I could only order out of catalogs and nothing fit right...28's too small, 30's a bit too big. I've been at my goal weight now for 18 months and I love wearing clothes!
The other evening at a meeting a friend of mine that has known me for like 24 years said that she just was having a hard time seeing me in high heels all the time. When she said that I thought...I need to get a new black pair that has a thinner heel these are a bit clunky. LOL. Before I couldn't even stand on heels.
I'm very, very lucky in that so many people have given me really classy clothes that are too small for them. I have very few items I've purchased for myself. I do wonder what my true style is though. I have also asked all of my friends to let me know if I start dressing a bit too ****ty. I've thought that it would be a blast to go on What Not to Wear just to see what I should be wearing. I think I look fabulous in everything and every style. I'm sure that my perception is skewed though.
Happy shopping! Mary
Hi Mary,
I just read your profile. You look wonderful! I bet people tell you all the time that they don't even recognize you!
Okay, I would love to hear your story. What promted you to lose over 150 pounds? What sort of diet and exercise plan are you on?
Congratulations on getting ps, it must feel wonderful to put a pair of pants on and know that you don't have to go up one size just to handle the stomach skin
