I have "heard" that exercising in the morning ..before you eat is a really good way to get your metabolism in high gear. Anyone else heard this? Wen

Hi Wen, Bob Greene, Oprah personal trainer stresses exercise in the morning because it revs's up the metabolism. The other benefit to a morning workout is it seems to keep me on track thru the day with my eating plan. HOWEVER, I can only exercise in the morning on the weekends. The rest of the week it is after work. I'm down 90 or so, so I think it really doesn't matter as long as you just do it Ann 306/213/130 Non-op

I exercise in the morning and in the evening. I've been successful in losing weight. I'm not certain if the morning exercise was a key factor or not. Lynette

Wendy, I agree with the other posters. While one periodically hears claims that exercising at a certain time of day is more beneficial than others, I am not away of any legitimate scientific studies confirming such claims. What matters is that we exercise regularly. Best of luck. Kasey 365/210 (nonop)
