Thursday March 2 Menu
Today I ate two end pieces of Italian bread (Penny doesn't like the end pieces in bread), and her leftover french toast with syrup. I hate to throw perfectly good food away.
Breakfast
1 cup Cream of Wheat
1 cup skim milk
1/4 cup cheesy scrambled egg substitute
1 medium banana
Coffee
2 cups water
AM Snack
1 Slimfast Cookie Bar
2 cups water
2 end pieces Italian bread
Leftover french toast with syrup
Lunch
Crab cake
Macaroni & cheese
Mixed vegetables
Pineapple or pear
2 sugar free Jello cups
4 graham crackers
2 cups water
Dinner
Paprika Beef Stew
1 cup brown rice
1 cup unsweetened applesauce
Crystal Light peach ice tea

For me today
Breakfast - 2 eggs, 2 slices turkey bacon, 1 slice whole wheat oat nut bread, 1/2 cup coffee with sugar free creamer
Snack - string cheese
Lunch - 1 cup turkey chili, 1 ounce light cheddar, 2 tbsp. sour cream
Snack - apple
Dinner - 3 oz ground turkey patty, steamed broccoli
Snack - sugar free chocolate/cheesecake pudding, lite whipped cream

Breakfast: LA smoothie with peaches, hard boiled egg, 1 oz. lowfat cheese, 3 lowfat Triscuits, chocolate crunch LA Lite Bar
Snack: peanut butter LA Lite Bar
Lunch: LA chocolate protein meal replacement drink, apple, LA caramel popcorn, Dannon lowcarb yogurt
Supper: grilled salmon, butternut squash, salad(lettuce, broccoli sprout, tomato), fat free dressing, apple
I tried a new recipe tonight. I made "french fries" out of butternut squash. Just peel and cut the squash into french fry shapes. Then spray with Pam. Season with salt and ground red pepper. Bake. Great with a little ketchup. Tastes just like french fries. At least I think so, I've not had real fries in over 2 years.
