I'M SO EXCITED! Please read my good news!
I weighed in today.....drum roll please....
I'M SO EXCITED!!! Things are going great! 1st always, is my excitement of what a great God we serve. I have signed up for the womens and singles ministries at my church. The women's ministry have groups that meet twice a month at Starbucks, and I am looking foward to meeting new people.
Now the BIG news of the day...I am 5 weeks in to my diet plan and I am down 14.8 lbs!!! You can see the spring in my step! My co-workers yesterday even noticed I have lost weight!
Cheryl is doing great too. She loves our church. Her doctor called yesterday, and the results from her blood test this week are great news too. Her blood sugars are back in normal range, her cholesteral is down, and her Dilantin levels are right in the middle of the normal range. I can't tell you how happy this makes me! I love her with all my heart, and since I lost Rhona mainly due to diabetes, I refuse to bury another sister to that horrible disease.
So I thank God that we are living right, and He is nurationing our spirits and bodies!
Thanks Lynette for reading my post and the GREAT support.
Maybe you can answer a question for me. I noticed not all fish is in the book under protiens. For example I had bought and ate some catfish (broiled) the other night. Do you know, are there fattening fish?
I am so happy. I was having trouble writing everything I ate in the "small" diary they give you. So I was using a 3 x 5 notebook I could fit in my purse. But then I didn't have the little bubbles to check off for each category as I ate to know what I have left in a day.
Sooo.. I went to Office Depot yesterday and had them make up a stamp for me of that part of the diary! So now I write on the front of a page, and on the back, I stamp the middle and write above it "how I'm feeling" and below it "activies". I love my stamp! I know I sound silly, but I am so happy tonite!
